Inspired by the classic hairdressing shapes, Lina Arrojo’s latest collection realigns the position and effect of the quintessential cuts. Re-Aligned looks forward –– and back.
“In fashion and beauty, we are always looking at what came before as inspiration for what comes next,” says Lina. “With Re-Aligned, I wanted to reignite my love of the classics, while offering a fashionable new collection.”
Each cut is inspired by a classic hairdressing shape; at the beginning of the creation of each look, however, Lina chose a different starting position for the cut than what was traditionally used, ensuring a realignment of hairdressing geometrics.
“These styles were made using ARROJO straightedge razor techniques, which means they naturally feature more texture and taper than any previous take on these looks,” adds Lina.
Careful to maintain the integrity of the archetypal shapes of hairdressing, and match the clean minimalism of contemporary trends, Lina and her team of ARROJO Masters show great restraint to focus on adding one dynamic new technique to each style. These new signature ARROJO moves include working from the top down and asymmetrical layering within a rounded shape.
